My first foreign trip with airplane! (Phuket travel edition)
Hi everyone! I'm going to share my first ever experience to travel abroad with a plane in my life! For the past twenty years in my life, I've never travelled with the aeroplane before as many reasons such as lack of financial support and didn't have time for a foreign vacation but now I finally have this opportunity with my friends.
I went with my friends on 29th of March to 1st of April, Phuket is a good place to go with but personally, I feel that maybe I should go to other parts of Thailand next time as Phuket didn't fulfil much expectation. As I write this after approximately three months, the memory of Phuket is faded a bit (Lol). But still, I want to share my experience here.
So before I went, I bought somethings which I think is much needed for this trip. First, is a plastic phone cover which is a great help when you need to swim in the sea to protect your phone. I bought it from MR.DIY which is around RM8.40 and it really does help me.
Besides that, I also bought several items such as plastic ziplock bags. These items are really helpful for me who has less travel experience (laughs) but even so I think my packaging ability hasn't improved yet.
SO we departed at Penang International Airport to Phuket International Airport on the night of March 29. We reached the hotel around 11pm and we bought some food at 7 Eleven as supper for the next day.
I search for the island tour available on Klook as I've learnt that the island-hopping is a must-do when visiting Phuket. I chose Phi Phi Island Tour package which we have go pass by different islands and get to swim in the sea. Although the food provided by the tour organizer is just so-so, I think it's just a good chance for us to experience the sea. XD
Later at night, we went for dinner No.6 Restaurant at Patong. This restaurant is on my must-go list since it was featured in many recommendations on the web. We take the shuttle offered by the restaurant to have the meal at the hill branch since the restaurant at the town is full of people waiting. The food is quite delicious and affordable!
On the next day, we walked to Patong Beach and took some pictures there. The beach is quite nice and there was not so crowded when we went so we can take pictures with a beautiful background. The people there always promoting their entertainment services but it's quite expensive for us to play. Then we went to The Coffee Club for their meal and also After You for the dessert. We also went to Big C in Jungceylon Shopping Center to but snacks and souvenir. Later in the evening we also went to the Banzaan Night Market to try some food there. We also experienced the massage service there and bought some late-night snacks from 7 Eleven. :)
The last day I booked a van tour bringing us to different places through Klook. We went to Promthep Cape Viewpoint, Chalong Temple, and Phuket Old Town. After that, we travel to the airport and come back to Penang, Malaysia.
Hope to visit more places in Thailand in future!
